Special Education (K-6) Leave Replacement		VACANCIES FOR 2025-2026 Special Education Teacher (K-6) Leave Replacement Starting date: January 27, 2026 Requirements: Experience in a Special Education Class and/or ICT settings Provides specialized instruction to students with disabilities and follows the IEP Employ positive and therapeutic behavioral intervention strategies Collect data to monitor student progress and drive instruction Work as part of a collaborative, interdisciplinary team to develop IEPs Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to ensure student success. Maintain accurate documentation, including IEPs and progress reports, in compliance with legal requirements. Salary: Starting at $66,686.00 \| At the discretion of the Superintendent of Schools, in accordance with the negotiated contract between Valley Stream District 30 and the Valley Stream Teachers Association (VSTA).
